Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Imports Division at our Brooklyn, NY headquarters. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about financial performance, strategic planning, and market analysis.

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our import operations, analyzing global supply chains, identifying investment opportunities, and helping shape the company’s financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the company’s financial performance and develop strategic recommendations to improve profitability;
• Oversee planning, budgeting, auditing, forecasting, cost control, and project finance;
• Assess door and wood product market trends and supply conditions;
• Evaluate supplier offers, shipping cost structures, and import logistics;
• Perform risk-return analysis and build financial models for decision-making;
• Audit shipment records and verify customs compliance;
• Interpret financial statements and generate profit plans;
• Collaborate with finance team to review information and develop forecasts;
• Monitor KPIs and propose improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management (required);
• 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis or related field;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools;
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities;
• Knowledge of supply chain finance or import/export is a strong plus.
